Love on the cards for Lewis and Vinny in Emmerdale
There’s been a lot of death and destruction in Emmerdale, but amongst all the rubble, a little romance has been growing.
A little light relief is coming our way in the sweet form of Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) and Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) finally getting a grip on their feelings.
It’s been a long time coming, but perhaps that means it’s set to last? We can only hope.
The little spark between them began months ago, when Vinny realised, he had feelings for his housemate.
He’d only recently learned he might be gay having realised he wasn’t feeling what he should be feeling for Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) in the lead up to their wedding. Then he realised he was having some feelings for his pal Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah).
Once Vinny had got all that out of the way, he started to notice he was feeling some type of way around Lewis. He tried to orchestrate moments alone, but Lewis seemed to be oblivious.
Then came Tony, the man who the very mention of made Vinny’s blood rage with jealousy. Turned out he was a 50-year-old straight personal trainer and no threat to Vinny at all.
Kammy let the cat out of the bag by explaining Vinny’s jealousy to Lewis and cluing him in on Vinny’s feelings. He then warned Lewis off making a move because he was afraid it would impact him.
Thankfully, Kammy’s selfish days are behind him as he’s about to realise his two friends might just be happier together.
He and Ross join forces to match-make this awkward pair, who likely wouldn’t get anywhere on their own.
